Our accomplishments have all been made possible through the efforts of porters, staff members, supporters, and volunteers from around the world. Our two main organizational arms are Porters’ Progress, Nepal (PPN) and Porters’ Progress, USA (PPUSA).

Porters’ Progress, USA is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that serves as an awareness-building and fundraising arm of PPN outside of Nepal. Tax-deductible donations made to PPUSA go directly to supporting Porters’ Progress in Nepal. The PPUSA board is made up of diverse individuals whose personal and professional expertise includes intimate knowledge of Nepal and the porter community.
	Porters’ Progress, Nepal is a non-governmental organization staffed and administered entirely by porters. PPN operates from three offices in Nepal – two in Kathmandu, and Lukla in the Solu-Khumbu or Everest region. PPN is officially registered with His Majesty’s Government and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal.
