KENTON COOL - The Life & Times of a High Altitude Mountain Guide

Kenton Cool is acknowledged as one of the world’s greatest high altitude mountain guides.  His record of success with clients on Everest is undoubtedly the best of any leader having guided clients to the summit no less than nine times (two of these being back to back in the same week - a global first).

Kenton is one of the elite IFMGA guides with a reputation and willingness to take on the impossible. He has a reputation for being able to motivate his clients on the most challenging of climbs and has notoriously guided Sir Ranulph Fiennes to the summit of Everest as well as the challenging North Face of the Eiger, despite Sir Ran’s morbid fear of heights.

"Kenton is the finest and at times the bossiest mountain guide I've ever had the pleasure to sleep with on a three foot ledge" Sir Ranulph Fiennes

Join him for an evening of video and jaw-dropping tales of what it takes to be the man in charge at the top of the mountain.

Please note that Kenton Cool replaces Paul Rose as this year's speaker for Porters' Progress UK.  Unfortunately Paul has been called away on a filming engagement in Antarctica but looks forward rescheduling his talk for another time.
